South Coast Transport
 There
are many car rental agencies
in Montego Bay which is the
arrival point for visitors to
the South Coast. Chauffeured
vehicles are available
ranging
from 50-seater coaches
operated by the large tour
companies to privately-owned
vans and taxis.
The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB)
publishes recommended fares for
popular routes but it is always
a good idea to discuss price
before boarding a vehicle. Taxi
and van drivers are licensed by
the JTB; look for the red
license plates marked PPV and
the "Team Jamaica" sticker.
