Negril Accommodations
Negril may be known as the "capital
of casual" but with many
high-end resorts in addition
to bargain hotels it offers the full range of accommodation
options. The three principal
areas are, from east to west,
Bloody Bay, 7-Mile Beach and
"West End".
The
main strip is Norman Manley
Boulevard which runs the length
of 7-Mile Beach and where resort
properties, hotels, bars and
restaurants occupy nearly every
beachside lot. Bloody Bay is
less-developed and as a result
there is little beach activity
outside the resorts. A narrow
road winds its way through
"West End" along dramatic cliffs
that are
ideal for diving and offer spectacular
sunset views.
